Comfort Week: Habit

Today's topic for Comfort Week is posting about a behaviour or routine that brings you comfort. See what other participants shared here.

My favourite part of my routine is daily 'debriefings' with my husband, Josh, at the end of the day. Whether we are sharing stories about a day at work, something sweet about the kids, or something funny we saw, we always have fun recapping and reconnecting at the end of the day. Being in love with your best friend is the greatest. :)

Debriefing generally isn't much of a photo op, so here's just a random picture of us.

  1. Very nice. :) I need to make more of an effort to have actual conversations with my husband every day. By the time the kids are in bed, we're so burned out we can barely speak. ;)

  2. That's a good routine to have. I also like debriefing after a party, comparing notes about the goings-on.

  3. This is a lovely idea and something all married couples need to make time for. Thanks for the reminder. Barb

  5. It's not only a great habit, but a great idea also! Touching base with one's spouse in a meaningful way is so important to a relationship.
