Banana Coffee Cake with Chocolate Chip Streusel

I saw this recipe on Cara's blog, and I just had to try it. I served each slice with a little caramel drizzled on top. Mmmm!

1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp cinnamon
1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
3 mashed very ripe bananas
3 Tbsp milk

Combine chocolate chips, brown sugar, walnuts, and cinnamon in small bowl until well blended; set streusel aside.

Beat sugar, butter, egg, bananas, and milk. Add dry ingredients and blend well.

Sprinkle a small amount of streusel into the bundt pan. Spread 1/3 batter into pan. Sprinkle with streusel. Repeat with remaining batter and streusel. Bake coffee cake until tester inserted into center comes out clean, about 65 minutes.
