Watermelon Lime Slush

I came across this recipe from Daydream Kitchen via Pinterest. I pinned it to try sometime, but then a good friend commented that she had already tried and loved it. A personal endorsement moved this pinned recipe to the top of my list to try! We loved it - the tart lime cuts the sweet watermelon to make a really refreshing treat. I think it would be great with tequila as suggested in the original recipe, though I tried it on a Monday morning with the kids so that wasn't really an option this time. Hopefully we'll have some sunny patio time with it soon!

1 1/2 C cubed watermelon, frozen
1/2 banana, cut into chunks and frozen
1 lime, zest and juice
1 tsp maple syrup
1/3 C (+/-) water

Place all ingredients in the blender and process until smooth.

To use my Magic Bullet Single Shot, I filled the canister with frozen watermelon and banana and topped with the lime juice, lime zest, and maple syrup. I added enough water to blend well, as the Magic Bullet works best when full.
